Volunteers in Providence North Community Groups lead groups to cultivate gospel-centered community. They oversee groups of 12-15 individuals, develop leaders, encourage non-members toward membership and encourage members to faithfully living out the core values of Providence North in Worshipping Christ, Living in Community and Making Disciples. Leaders communicate regularly with the Community Pastor and attend leader events.
Kids - Preschool
Volunteers in our Preschool ministry (birth – Pre-K) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our littlest ones during weekend worship services through singing, dancing and teaching the truth of God’s Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, and provide care for babies and toddlers.
Kids - Elementary
Volunteers in our Providence Kids Elementary ministry get the opportunity to create relationships with students and minister to them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They check in students, set up events, greet students, and lead kids through worship.
Volunteers in our Providence Students ministry get the opportunity to create relationships with students and minister to them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They gather on Sunday mornings for main service worship, then split off to study the Word together with our students.
Set Up / Tear Down
Volunteers on our Set Up and Tear Down teams serve behind the scenes. They are responsible for turning the building from a dance studio to a place where our community can worship Jesus. They set up stage, chairs, kid’s classrooms, prep for events, and at the end of the service reset the building for Boni’s.
Volunteers on our Hospitality team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at Sunday services. They serve our church on a monthly basis. They greet people before the Sunday service and they help people connect with Providence Kids, pastors and community group leaders within the church. They are also available to answer most questions a new guest might have.
Audio / Visual
Volunteers on the A/V team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services, and set up for services and events.
Volunteers on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship through music. They lead worship at Sunday services and any other potential events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band.
